NOTES: Honjo is one of the most phenotypically impressive Akaushi bulls ever born due to his combination of awless design, total muscularity and thickness, and maternal lineage. Genetically, he is the last living male descendant from the Legendary cow, Kaedemaru. Honjo’s maternal granddam is the Japanese import Namiaki NI, that came to America in the mid 90’s. Ka- edemaru was her rst natural born calf born in the US and is still alive today at 22 years of age. Kaedemaru created a genetic giant when mated to Red Emperor with Honjo.
